I'm fine, this is hardly the first time I've been powerless. The way everything seems to be rushing lately worries me more.

Not really. You can't do anything to open our gills back up, and that's about the only thing that will help at this point.

I can't leave Mera right now. Or Kaldur. [His voice lowers a little, saddens as he thinks of another time he had to make a choice between saving a creature of the sea and staying with his family.] My family needs me more. I'm useless like this anyway.

[Kal nods, understanding. He's lucky he only really has Lois, and she doesn't have any powers. He doesn't know if he could stand seeing her suffer, he doesn't know how Arthur is doing it.]

Lois and I joined a team, we're still deciding what our course of action will be.

[It's the most difficult part of this whole thing, probably, watching Mera be miserable and not being able to really take her mind off it. The last time her ability to breathe water was taken from her, it was a terrible time.] I know. Just do whatever you can for Asti.
